👋 Hi, I’m Sukjun Hwang

I am a Ph.D. student in the Machine Learning Department, School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Prof. Albert Gu.

Prior to joining CMU, I received my M.S. degree in Computer Science at Yonsei University. I was advised by Prof. Seon Joo Kim, and I had research internships at Adobe Research and Qualcomm AI Research. Before that, I also completed my undergraduate at Yonsei University with highest honors (summa cum laude, ranked 1st).

My current main focus is in dynamic architectures, but also broadly interested in

  • Novel Architectures: Sequence Modeling, Structured Matrices
  • Machine Learning: Multi-modal Learning, Self-supervised Learning
  • Computer Vision: Video Understanding, Object-Centric Representation
